Protecting Nonprofits Across Illinois

Across Illinois, nonprofits leaders are wrestling with a rapidly evolving federal environment.

The ramifications can affect how nonprofits plan financially, conduct their work, and, ultimately, aid the communities they serve.

Today, Illinois nonprofits leaders have a new resource to help them navigate this changing landscape: the Nonprofit Resilience Hub, a no-cost destination for trusted expert guidance where Illinois nonprofit with operating budgets under $10 million can obtain support in addressing the effects of federal action.

If you are not eligible, we may be able to connect you to other resources. Please contact us at probonoworks@clccrul.org

  • The Nonprofit Resilience Hub helps Illinois nonprofits with operating budgets under $10M, navigate legal, financial, and organizational challenges created by federal action.

The Nonprofit Legal Support Project, a partnership between The Chicago Bar Foundation, Forefront, and Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights, was formed under the Nonprofit Resilience Hub to expand access to legal services for nonprofits navigating emerging legal and compliance risks due to federal executive orders and administrative actions.

This project is made possible thanks to a major grant from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The Chicago Community Trust who has provided significant additional support for this project, and several other area foundations are supporting a broader suite of financial and management resources for nonprofits through Forefront
