This election season has already proven to be a busy one for voting rights advocates and partners – we are grateful to be connected and in this fight with you. We want to take a moment to pause and celebrate the incredible community defending democracy in Illinois.
We invite you to Power of Connection: Defending the Vote, a special gathering co-hosted by Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Chicago Votes. The Power of Connection voting rights celebration brings together grassroots voting rights organizers, pro bono legal volunteers, and voting rights advocates for an evening of community building. This event will focus on face-to-face relationship building, and knowledge sharing ahead of Election Day.
As our communities face continued confusion and misinformation, it is more important than ever that we remain connected to each other to support voters as best as we can.
