Civil Rights, Right Now: The Courage of Clients

When executive overreach threatens our civil rights, attorneys cannot win without clients who are brave enough to fight back. Join us for a conversation with two women leading with courage: Marcia Johnson of the League of Women Voters and Susan Stanton of ACT Now Illinois. Their organizations are suing the federal government to stand up for voting rights and to protect critical programming in public schools. We will discuss what it takes to be a client in this environment, and how they balance the needs of their organizations, the communities they serve, and the greater good.
