Election Protection

The nation’s largest nonpartisan coalition working to protect the right to vote.

Indiana Primary Election Protection volunteer sign-ups are now closed.

Starting in September 2024, we will be recruiting November 5th, 2024 General Election Protection call center volunteers to answer questions from voters calling the 866-OUR-VOTE hotline and field volunteers to monitor and respond to problems as they arise at the polls in Illinois and Indiana. Please contact Ari Hoffman, Election Protection Coordinator, at ahoffman@clccrul.org to sign up for our email list and stay up to date about future opportunities.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

  • Provides comprehensive voter information and educates the public on their right to vote.

  • Offers nonpartisan hotlines to answer voter questions and report problems.

  • Sends monitors to polling locations to oversee procedures and answer on-site questions.

  • Collects voter data and experiences, which are used to drive election law reform through community education, legislation, and litigation.
