Join us for our annual fundraiser with music, refreshments, and entrepreneur clients from across Chicagoland.
This year, our event will celebrate Community Law Project Director Jody Adler’s years of work connecting local small businesses and nonprofits with high-quality legal support.
Featuring locally-made goods produced by our clients:
All-natural juice blends by Eeni Juice, a small local business started in 2016 at The Bronzeville Incubator™.
Inspiring greeting cards from Changing Worlds, which fosters inclusive communities through oral history, writing, and arts-based peace and non-violence programs in Evanston and Chicago.
Delicious baked goods from Ms. P’s Gluten Free, a small business started by La Grange entrepreneur and mother Lisa Marsh.
Organic, vegan soap and skincare from Ma Sista Stuff, a 14-year-old Oak Park business by Angelina Ortega, who teaches dance classes and holds soap-making workshops.
We will also recognize the Combined Insurance Company of America, a Chubb Company, with our 2018 Outstanding Pro Bono Award.

The Community Law Project helps to build, strengthen, and support community-based organizations that are focused on economic development and social services in Chicago’s low-income neighborhoods. We provide transactional legal assistance to create, stabilize, and foster growth of nonprofits and small businesses, and we give legal support to coalitions of nonprofits in negotiations with developers to secure benefits for surrounding communities.
