On Monday, February 22, 2010 the United States Supreme Court heard oral argument in the Lewis v. Chicago case, a case litigated by CLC since 1998. The plaintiffs challenged Chicago's 1995 written firefighter entrance exam. The lower court determined that the exam illegally discriminated against African American applicants.
